Jordache K. Avery is the principal and owner of XMETRICAL, which he founded in 2009. His modern homes have been featured on multiple tours; his work has garnered multiple design awards; and he has been recognized by Atlanta Magazine as one of Atlanta’s most powerful leaders. Jordache is a member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), where he also serves as the Georgia state representative for the AIA Small Firm Exchange. Jordache lives in the Ormewood Park Neighborhood of Atlanta with is wife Rashida Avery, MD and their three children.

Project Manager

Joel is an analytical designer who has been with XMETRICAL since 2017. He navigates many of the firm's more complex projects through a focused application of technical and theoretical design knowledge. As an architect, he explores how intentional design can uncover new understandings that create a sense of place and foster deeper human connections with our built environment. Joel's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design with a Minor in Art Practice from Stanford University and a Master of Architecture from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He spends much of his free time with outdoor recreation, travel, and media, which often serve as his design inspirations.

Interior Architect | Project Designer

Nicole is a holistic designer with several years of experience in commercial interior design and architecture. A strategic design thinker with strong worth ethics and collaborative skills, Nicole is focused and determined to achieve unique design solutions, responding to all client needs and desires, with utmost attention to detail and quality. As a project designer she assists the team in all aspects of design from architecture to final finish selections. Originally from Puerto Rico, Nicole’s interests include fearless DYI, fitness, interior decor and traveling.

Intern Architect

Prior to working at XMETRICAL, Marcas, a South Carolina native, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Since then he has worked for various architecture and design studios in both Boston and Amsterdam. Being passionate about the visual and performing arts, Marcas also enjoys working behind the camera and as a professional choreographer.

Intern Architect

Nandini Dave is a recent graduate with a Master of Architecture degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she was recognized as a Portman Prize finalist and awarded for her outstanding portfolio. She previously graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from India, receiving accolades for design excellence upon her completion. Nandini has gained valuable experience through internships at various firms across India, Spain, and the United States. Her architectural philosophy focuses on creating spatial experiences through minimalist design, with careful attention to detail and material selection, reflecting the people it serves.

Technical Director

Neville coordinates and oversees all aspects related to the technical design and detailing for projects at XMETRICAL.  He is a expert on specifications, building code and fire protection as well as & waterproofing and general coordination.  Neville has been with XMETRICAL since 2016.
